First things first...the site name  {OF}MethanePub  was originated by my friend and fellow gamer, {OF}HeyBeerMan. BeerMan hosted a gaming server, though long gone, I created this website under the same name in it's honor.

The story of... {OF}MillerTime  

First some history.  I been playing computer games since home computers came out in the 80's.  I got into online play around 1996 and I really have not been offline since.

I'm officially a member of the    online gaming team.  The Old Farts are truly great bunch that enjoy playing online for FUN.  We are all older peeps that understand the purpose of gaming for fun and realize that we all have 'real-life' obligations too that may, dare I say it? interfere with gaming from time to time.

How did I get my name?  Well in spite of the fact that I do like beer (a lot), the name MillerTime did not come from that.  As the old (really old) TV commercials implied...when the work day was done "It's your time, it's Miller Time".  I thought about that and decided that was me.  When work and 'honey do lists' are done it's my time and I choose to play games online.  Hence, Miller Time is actually more a frame of mind, rather than just a beer name.
